Katie Price Biography

Katie Price (born Katie Infield) was born on May 22nd, 1978, hails from the seaside town of Brighton in Sussex, England. She decided to dive into the modelling career taking the suggestion from one of her friends. To her astonishment, she was selected for a photo shoot for an agency in London.

Katie Price featured on a Page 3 feature of a famous British tabloid and thereafter her popularity skyrocketed. Her talent remains the ability to appear on the gossip columns.

Over the years, Katie Price or jordan as she is usually addressed, has been linked Teddy Sheringham (soccer), showjumper Oliver Skeete, Warren "Ace" Furman of Gladiator fame, Dane Bowers (lead singer, Another Level) and recently, Peter Andre(Australian singer).

Katie price had even auditioned for a part in Baywatch in 1998 but couldn't get it. Not satisfied with her chest size, she went on to have a plastic surgery.

There was a time when katie price was thinking of a career in music as well. She even struct a record deal with the help of Dane Bowers. Jordan has posed for Play boy's september 2002 issue. In the same year, she also released her own calendar.

Richard Macer, a BBC filmmaker interested in covering the life of jordan, filmed her in his documentaries, The Truth About Me (2002), Jordan: The Model Mum (2004) and Jordan: You Don't Even Know Me (2004). She has also appeared in various British TV shows such as I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, The Frank Skinner Show, Dream Team and The Dunphy Show.

She is not ashamed of showing off herself which has been the key to her popularity. She did not let her small town image come in the way and dared to dream big.

Katie price once posed for a sex shop brochure and appeared on the Formula One circuit.

On May 27, 2002, she gave birth to a baby boy she named Harvey after her grandfather. Harvey's father was the Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke, although again the relationship broke up before the child was born.
